The thing is lads we don’t think we’re anywhere near the quality we should be and we are still streets ahead of them as they can’t drag their brains out of the 1690’s . Their hatred overwhelms rational thinking but they can’t see it. If we improve the positions I feel we can really run away with this league. If we haven’t already.

Couldn’t have said it better. We expect more and can reach higher heights.. yet we still sit +12 ahead. Unreal time to be a Celt 🍀

It’s the CL where the quality we need as you know

Hatred is a human trait which eventually eats into the person, or group which projects it. Ie knuckle dragging Huns and the Zionists in Israel.

I felt after the Cup Final that the reason they went overboard with _The Rangers Internationals_ performance was based solely on Celtics sub par performance. The fact is for the first 40 minutes we dominated possession and their keeper was by far the busier of the two. They score after a wee blunder by Taylor and get a second wind from it. Thus giving them the illusion that they were allover us pushing to win the game. Celtic go in at half time and regroup,there’s no panic we just get out there and up the pace and hopefully all will be well. As it turned out both teams had defensive wobbles ,both teams suffered from poor passing and distribution but ultimately it made for a great game for the neutral as it did the blue tinted spectacle wearing deludamol drinking knuckledraggers. In the meeja. Form is temporary,class is permanent as the saying goes. Well they simply don’t have the quality that we do and when that quality we do have is ruled out in numbers then form will naturally take a dip. Add in the heavy schedule,bad weather and well organised sides then points will inevitably be dropped as they always have been under such circumstances. It is very rare to go win after win after win with factors like these affecting a side. The point at Tannadice was exactly that a point which ultimately took us one step closer to 4 in a row and the fabled 55. The result yesterday was a return to form and it was no coincidence Hatate ,CCV and Kuhns return sparked that return to form. I think Brendan has successfully guided us through a tough schedule by rotation of the squad. Some of it forced and part of it calculated. As for the question about Brendan and Ange ? I don’t do revisionism so I will say this : Brendan left in a manner that was unacceptable for a man claiming to be a lifelong supporter. He rightly received a backlash for doing that. Whilst he dominated Domestically he did struggle in Europe as he has done throughout his Managerial career. I have been an avid critic of his for that reason only. Ange came in a breath of fresh air with a style that excited ,delivered and was successful. In Europe however it was a similar story ,he was too one dimensional and ultimately found out at that level. No plan B just do plan A better is naive at best and reckless at worst. Brendan has returned it’s taken him a full Season to change to a style that can be manipulated from within the same system. As a result ,results in Europe have dramatically improved. So for me it’s Brendan all the way but with a hat tip to Ange for seeing the job out at least. He never arrived a Celt but for sure he left one. Kudos to Brendan for adapting ,for righting the wrong and for improving us. Btw the day Ange stated “Don’t get too attached to your heroes “ was the day he mentally checked out and knew he was heading to Spurs. On a side note neither received the amount of personal vitriol that Neil Lennon was on the receiving end of online after the disaster that was the Covid Season. Anyone who claims to be a true Celt and was part of that fell well short of the title _True Tim_ in my opinion and was acting like a true knuckledragger from the other side of the Clyde and Divide. Neil was a man who served Celtic under conditions no Player or Manager prior too or since has had to endure and yet he still delivered.

Taylor is stil making those suicidal passes right in front of our opponents strikers. Again CCV bailed him out yesterday.
@brownwarrior686715 сағат бұрын
@ Hatate makes one of those every week and no one blinks. I think Brendan encourages them to take the odd risk in order to break open a stubborn well organised defences. Eventually it will come to bite you on the Erchie of course but so long as we have a defence who are switched onto that possibility then we probably should take the odd risk now and then.

Also, it's all opinions but I think you're really harsh on Taylor. He's a cracking player. Which other Full Back do you have that wins you that match v Aberdeen? AJ?. Not a chance! Tierney is world class when fit. Better than Robertson but he's never fit! Taylor suits the current set up and you'll miss him hugely.

My comment on the day after Dundee United, was very calm and measured. History shows that despite us playing very well from August up to late December we normally have a slight downturn between Christmas and late January. Much is down to injuries, weather conditions, field conditions and sickness. If you "know your history " you should realize this.

😂 That St Mirren title winning game in 2001 almost put the Garngad Party in jeopardy so well done to Tommy Johnston for that 30 yard howitzer 😜👍

The catalyst for this European campaign was the 7-1 skelping that made us humble and allowed us to go to Bergamo and set up defensive, then onto Leipzig with a slightly better defensive lineup

If we are going to spend ! Bring back Jotta. We can get by with two left backs we have.
@keiranallan53677 сағат бұрын
To improve the starting 11 we need to spend around 8 million on a left back.. Around 10 million on a winger... Around 15 for a defensive central midfielder.. Minimum. Not happening in January maybe 2 of the 3 in summer

The delusion that emanates from ibrox never ceases to amaze me. After we dropped 2pts at Tannadice, they were all salivating at the chance of cutting the gap to 6pts on Jan 2nd. It was as if winning back to back away games in the league (vs St Mirren & Motherwell) was just a forgone conclusion and they were already looking to the Celtic game. They have managed back to back away wins in the league only ONCE so far this season and that was St Johnstone & Ross County, arguably the two worst teams in the division. Prior to playing St Mirren, they had taken 10pts from a possible 21pts in their 7 away league games. After St Mirren it is now 10pts from 8 away league games. Why on earth they were so buoyant is beyond me. What were they basing it on???
