He’s good in the stand up on the spot videos, after seeing this one and the other one I think he genuinely is funny and has potential as a comic. This format is way better for him than the traditional comedy special route he’s been trying to take

Let's not get crazy. This was OK, by Brendan's standards. I respect him for putting himself out there when he thinks the entire world hates him, but people need to stop acting like he suddenly became George Carlton.

Whether people think It takes 'balls' or not for him to keep going Is irrelevant and the only reason he's doing It Is cause he's too proud to back out now. But unfortunately, no matter how hard he tries he's just gonna keep diggin himself further and further because he simply doesn't have the chops, sorry.

He hasn't been doing it that long. Any comic will tell you it takes a decade to get funny. The problem is that he was semi famous before he started so the spotlight is on him. Either way, why do you care whether or not he stays in comedy? If he never puts assess in seats, he won't be in it for very long.

@@therivergiveth If there's one thing all the top comics have it's Inherent, baseline, natural funniness which he simply doesn't have. It's why they got into doing stand up In the 1st place not because they were 'enabled' by a famous podcast host who also happens to be their friend (and who also now admits he doesn't have what It takes himself) It doesn't take a decade to get funny. You already have to BE funny to begin with then take another 10-15 years to hone those skills doing stand-up which Is an entirely different beast altogether ...and him ranking on Flair about 'CTE' Is rich considering he has to know this is an ongoing running joke about HIM online at the moment.

@elliotpage550 Well, maybe, but I've seen some of my favorite comic's old material and just horrific. But even if you're right, I'm genuinely curious of why TF you even care? If he doesn't sell tickets, his career will not go anywhere. I truly don't understand the incessant online hate. Is your goal to make him com**t su**"ide? He's a bit douchey, but I've seen worse. I dislike a lot of "entertainers" but have never had an urge to make comments about how much (I think) they suck. Comedy, like all art, is subjective.
