I get that comedians are telling stories and taking us down fictitious paths to make a point or get a laugh. But I HATED the way he closed out the ending, if you've been a fan of Schaub since before he started being an entertainer fulltime then you know that's not, as he put it himself, "his story". "Bryan and I drove 8 hours to LA, and we hatched a plan so that i would never fight again", on that fateful episode of JRE a few weeks post fight "yea man, we just need to polish up a few things then I should be able to make a go at a title run" . It's an incoherent comedic decision. The impression isn't racist enough to even get a cheap laugh out of me, but it is absolutely an intentional lie when compared with the doctor who sounds more American than I do. Also note the gay tone of everything, down to his clothes even. He knew he hadn't written a single great joke, so he's going full tilt modern "comedian". Which means a goofy story teller.
