Simple answer is they dont like piano and or boogie woogie. Its not hard to work out. It could also be as simple as they are in a rush to catch a train given the location happens to be a very busy station. Different genres have entirely different energies and rhythms, for you to put down other times is not very enligthened. Hipfop for example has power, a tribal force music like this could never come close to, but music like this is far more energetic and upbeat its for a totally different type of situation.

During the 80's in my young man days in a great church full of young people, we had three people who played the piano. Two ladies who played the pretty stuff wonderfully. And then sometimes we would want to get excited and jump around and all that, and they had me play like a rocker. Pounding out octaves for rhythm. Even though I would have loved being able to learn this I never played anything close.
