I think that's the issue. I don't class myself as right or left, but previously, when I ask questions of someone I would consider from the right, I get straight answers. When I ask questions of someone I would consider far left I get called names and generally insulted. I think far right want to have an honest discussion but far left don't. From watching many of these so called peace protests of late, I would have to speculate that many of those that attend these are NOT locals but rather professional protesters who are paid to attend. Many of them you will see at different protests.

What is going wrong with this world? I lived in London in 67-70 and you would not see this craziness. Immigration in England was just beginning with Indians coming and they seemed to assimilate very naturally and accepted the norms and quirks of the society as it existed. Seemed like it happened naturally. Wit people overrunning countries and then insist the country they just came to had to change to meet their society norms and the used force to make it happen. So sad

@@ajohnmiller4469 That sounds familiar, your ancestors did the exact same thing way back when they "discovered" North America, the only difference is that they slaughtered the native inhabitants to take over their lands. The same thing was done by the British and other imperial empires to countless other countries, so don't talk about people overrunning other countries before you know anything about the history of your own people. And by the way the main reason why people are forced to immigrate to countries like England and the US is because of this same exploitation in their native lands, the resources of their countries have been plundered and are still being plundered by rich people from rich nations. Do you actually think that people want to leave their homelands and move to a foreign country only to be confronted by racism. Educate yourself as to what's going on in the world.

⁠@@DaveCutler-w6mthere is plenty of racism from you,you forgot to mention that the British built a lot of the infrastructure and sanitation facilities in these countries ,so ‘educate’ yourself on all aspects of colonialism
