Thank you Brandon for this indepth tutorial! The Aerial has been one of my favorite tricks since I've discovered Jujimufu years ago, and I've never been able to do it (also thanks to the fact that I've picked tricking and left it a bunch of times). Now I'm working on my flexibility using your tips and I hope I'll get it soon :)

This is seriously cool, I'm starting to get into tricking more and more, and these tricks of the week keep me interested and thinking about tricking, even when I'm short on time. I really appreciate these videos and how they explain every part of a trick, thank you for all your effort!

Regarding the a-twist being just an inverted b-twist, I thought so too, but one thing that appears to be the case is that a-twist only involves 180 degrees of twist whereas b-twist is 360 which suggests they are different over and above the inversion/lack of inversion. Your thoughts on this?

Okay, so I'm not a novice tricker at all, I can do double corks and such, but aerial has always bothered me. I can only seem to get it nicely from a big btwist set up. When I do it from standing or so, my hips don't go as high and I feel like it looks more like a bkick and I don't like it

Took me 1 year to master the aerial, I had the same problem as you but probably worse cause I had bent legs, I don't have the flexibility but it seems like I didn't need it cause right now I am just as inflexible and don't stretch but can still do a straight leg aerial. Except for the fact I can't get my legs as high as him lol but still decent looking. You just need to keep drilling it. Edit: I can get my legs pretty high and straight now, still lack flexibility but I use power to compensate for my lack of flexibility

Is a 180 Webster the same thing as an A twist?
@parkourandfreerunning42143 жыл бұрын
No it's not, an a-twist is a more inverted b-twist but its 180 degree rotation due to the fact it's more inverted while the b-twist is a 360 horizontal flip. A-twist has the same exact motion as a b-twist but more inverted while a Webster 180 isn't treated like a twist but more of a flip with a turn
