I'm not even joking, this might be the most amazing color grading tutorial I've ever watched 😭

This is an excellent intro to ways to color grade. I liked that you distinguished adding colors to an image vs shifting colors already in the image. But it seems to me that gradient maps can actually add colors into tonal areas much like color balance adjustments. I use gradient maps to steal color grades from other images and those colors are really added to the image. What do you think?

EXCELLENT!!!!!!! Recently some of my bayou photos came out very monochromatic with dark red and orange cedar trees and not much else. My own attempts were less than what I hoped but I think these tips will allow me to expand the color ranges a great deal more!!!! Many thanks!!!!!

I really like your presentation style! The information is helpful because I often feel confused because there are so many ways to do things in PSD. Thanks.

Very interesting techniques. Thanks for sharing. If I understand the concept, it seems that you're using the apply image as a simple luminosity mask to control where the effect is applied. I like the idea here, but you can get even more control (if needed/desired) using tools like TK Actions to create extremely targeted luminosity masks.

As I suggested previously, your tutorials would be much easier to follow if you would not visually chop them up so much. Your script should have punctuation, such as commas, periods, semicolons, etc. The person watching your tutorials expects you to utilize these momentary punctuation hesitations in the video as well. Another helpful tip: S-L-O-W D-O-W-N. This is not a fire drill. Remember, the people trying to learn from your excellent tutorials are not as well-versed in Photoshop as you. We need time to both hear clearly what you are saying and visually absorb your movements when clicking on different icons, etc. Hopefully, you will take my tips to improve your tutorials as I am utilizing your tips to improve my Photoshop editing. Respectfully, Ken
