I see a guy with good awareness, good decision making and the ability to pick out the pass he can see. Those are things we've not seen in our midfield since Pablo Hernandez went. Could be a really nice fit for LUFC.

By far his best ability is his first touch. He’s so consistently able to orient his body and shift his momentum in a way that his first touch on the ball almost always eliminates 1-2 defenders. He opens up a ton of space to dribble and create that way, and it’s such a simple thing.

@@thedude4798 I think that’s a fair concern, but really only because he’s not flashy. Most of the time, you see $30m dished out for players that have fancy tricks and glitzy highlight reels, but this is the kind of guy that will elevate the way the entire team plays.

He understands space pretty well and can pass into space or release the ball quickly when he doesn’t have space. Draws in a lot of fouls too which will be good with the physicality of the premier league
