Truth be told, most people I know in real life would probably be shocked if they found out I liked Panic! At The Disco lol. Anyways, spectacular album, Brendon is serving vocals (as per usual). What kinda bothered me is the lack of low notes and higher head notes. But that’s fine, he gave us a 3+ octave ranged album and continues to show his amazing vocal abilities. Artistically loving this album, I love the sound he’s going for. My favourite songs would definitely be (Fuck A) Silver Lining, Say Amen (Saturday Night), or Hey Look Ma, I Made It (that was a TOUGH decision, I love all the songs).
SONGS
1. (Fuck A) Silver Lining [B2 - B4 - B5 (C#6)]
2. Say Amen (Saturday Night) [F#2 - C#5 - B5]
3. Hey Look Ma, I Made It [C3 - C5 - D5]
4. High Hopes [C3 - F5 - C5]
5. Roaring 20s [F3 - C#5 - G#4]
6. Dancing’s Not A Crime [Bb3 - C#5 - F#5]
7. One of the Drunks [C#3 - G#4 - Eb5]
8. The Overpass [Eb3 - Bb4 - Eb5]
9. King of the Clouds [C3 - A4 - A5]
10. Old Fashioned [E3 - A4 - E5]
11. Dying In LA [A3 - B4 - F#5]
NOTES
There are harmonised F5s in Hey Look Ma, I Made It’s last chorus. May or may not be Urie.
There might be a G#5 (head note) in Dancing’s Not A Crime, but I think that might be an overtone.
To be honest, I’m kinda skeptical about the F#2 in Say Amen (Saturday Night).
(I realised this after I uploaded) the D3 run in High Hopes goes deeper to a C3.
