SO glad MacDonald saw the potential in Coby and started him. Rodgers did a short pass to I think Hall yesterday or something and it was out of the backfield. He had TONS of green in front of him and a Seattle guy was running up and I was like, "Oh boy...." and when I saw it was #8 I was like, "Oh we good." And sure enough Coby took him down 1/1 no problem. Guy makes plays on the ball and is a sound tackler. Not great in coverage, but safeties don't necessarily have to be and then can take a little more time than a CB to process.

Why don’t you think he’s good in coverage?
@ilikeme123414 сағат бұрын
I think his coverage issues were from playing nickel. If he was playing outside CB I think his coverage numbers would look better.

I used to look down on Damien Lewis, then we took two huge steps backward at left guard. We were spoiled….

Add Earnest Jones IV. Good for us and good for views, but more importantly, just make a sweeping rule that any Hawk on a rookie deal is a part of these videos.

At this point we really need to have a conversation about who’s actually WR 1 on the team. DK still has the deep threat speed but JSN is literally always open and comes up with the most clutch catches.
@TheEliteFox19 сағат бұрын
Metcalf is still #1, JSN is on his way though. Needs a few more elite games before he's there.

There are things that DK does that no one else can do. He opens up the field for Tyler and JSN.

Metcalf had a TD yesterday if Geno puts the ball a little bit further. He had to slow down and come back to the ball on the 4 or 5 yard line to catch it. Then we end up don't even scoring on that drive
@Ornacity014 сағат бұрын
A good reason for JSN's success is from DK. DK draws double teams, and JSN can get open easier.
@real.cryptic12 сағат бұрын
@@chrissears5482yeah I even said that watching. Geno under threw that ball. Should’ve been a td for Dk. Don’t worry though Dk will get a td next week and the offense will go crazy. I have a feeling that we are due for an offensive boom. This is the game we start to be discussed as a legit playoff threat.

Cross is actually in like the top 5 for worst tackles in terms of pressures in the league. I think the drop in play for him is actually because of Lucas, when Lucas was out all the pressure was schemed to the right side of the line. Now that Lucas is in, Cross is getting most of the pressure. It's not a coincidence that his numbers started dropping when Abe came back. Laumea may not have played great overall, but he did pancake a dude on the game winning score. He has talent, he needs experience now. I think last game was a turning point in a lot of ways for this run game. It actually showed some signs of life and the head coach may have finally had enough of Grubb's lack of hammering the run game in the red zone. I think both things are good things, we don't know exactly why Grubb hasn't been calling more run plays -- but there is a reason. He has to know and Mike must have told him what he wants.

I knew that dude could ball. His only problem was they had put him in at nickel corner which makes everyone’s coverage stats look bad. What’s great about him though is his flexibility with that CB experience.

ehh transparency mode is not the answer for the open ear experience in closed back headphones. I think the reason people like open ear headphones isnt due to situational awareness, but because of they have a better sound stage and natural representation. Feel that's why a lot of audiophiles like open back because it leads to more even listening that is better for critical listening (or mixing).

Kenneth Walker is not a starting caliber running back. I think he's proven that this year.
@upoceo16 сағат бұрын
I think 20 other teams would take K9 as their starting RB tomorrow. Ryan Grubb has no rushing scheme. His rushing scheme is hand the ball to the RB and hope for something good. Do you think Kyle Shanahan could get 1500 yards out of Kenneth Walker? Jordan Mason was a UDFA. It's not all the line that is the problem. A lot of it is the offensive scheme we're running. He put up better than average numbers his first two years behind the same quality offensive line. What changed was the scheme. Our offensive line coach had no NFL experience before this year, but don't worry - he had 7 years of college experience in an air raid system. lol K9 is definitely a starting caliber running back.

@@upoceo Grubb can't open up his playbook completely-especially the run-due to the inconsistency and inexperience on the o line, along with the added injuries....try running your scheme when you are down to your fourth string RT....lines are a unit that runs best when it has cohesion, which is far from where this line stands....and Huff was NOT in an air raid scheme the last seven years, he was at UW which did not run close to an air raid until DeBoer arrived and even that was not a true air raid.....
@upoceo9 сағат бұрын
@@brianmyers4444 I do agree with you that DeBoer's system was not a true air raid. That's totally accurate. I just think that these college offensive coaches whose system works so well in college are more often than not going to have trouble running the same system in the NFL. Now if they modify it, that's great. But things like route trees and coverage schemes... it's very easy for an NFL cornerback to blanket a receiver for 3 seconds, which actually says a lot good for Geno's accuracy and JSN's separation ability. Those two things have helped Grubb a lot. If you don't have an o-line, then maybe he needs to change blocking schemes and run schemes. I just feel like if you gave Kyle Shanahan this offense with our o-line, he'd have Kenneth Walker running wild.
