I had no reason to go to New Jersey, but I want to go to this place and Anthony's shop.

You're extremely lucky to have places like this to go to. Sadly other than online stores the best bet I have in the UK for CD browsing is hitting charity shops.

Yeah that’s why I cleared 33 CDs because I couldn’t beat those prices! I probably put back a good 10 CDs that now I’m thinking at those prices I should have just bought. Well, there is always next time!

Hey Brendan, I picked up a lot of good cassettes in the section in the back closer to the back of the store. Nice ones and good prices. I didn’t have a chance to look through any of the CDs just some of them.

That's a great Gary Moore live album, with 3 excellent musicians from the Purple family at that time (Airey, Paice and Murray). It also features John Sloman from Lone Star but the cd front cover lists him as..."Slowman"...

What a great record store! When I lived in Philadelphia (Chestnut Hill) I used to make the treck to the Princeton Record Exchange for a shopping fix! Unfortunately, where I live today (Sacramento, CA) most of the stores are vinyl centric. The only store that I know of in Northern California/Bay Area that has a comparable CD selection in Amoeba Records in San Francisco. Enjoy my friend and thanks for sharing!

Yeah I definitely miss being able to do that here in NYC. There just really is not a place like that and the ones that have that kind of selection like a "Book Off" have totally gone wild with pricing mainly because they are trying to reign in tourists who will drop $$ and not care that they could find it cheaper and new probably at Barnes and Noble thats how crazy some of the USED prices are in there. But you have some great spots in Jersey for sure. There would be weeks I would be buying 30-40 in Book off but that was long ago, now I more or less pop in there just to see if they have come back down to earth but when I see an open copy of something like a Led Zeppelin IV priced at 15 dollars I just think how out of it these places are sometimes with pricing, but thats mainly because they are not a music store they sell tons of other things that they make most of their money off of, they now put Music downstairs and gave it a whole floor which is better but, prices are ridiculous .

I’ve never seen a shop that re-shrink wraps its used CDs. Guess that’s a good way to keep them more secure, but prevents the buyer from checking for damage. Still seems like a sweet store.

Waw such a cool bunch of stuff. Which i was at that store with a big check or a lot of money. Damn there was much i would like. Saw you showed a Bulldozer cd. That is as i remember it thrash. Primal Fear i have 7 cd'es with. But haven't got all. But check out the cd Delivering The Black(if you haven't got that one) and try getting it with the dvd on it. Check the number Born With A Broken Heart

That Billy Squire is on Music on CD. Which basically do exact copies of the Originals. The Universal Japan cds are cooler, because if they didn't originally have lyrics included, they will add them. I need that Gary Moore cd. Looked like they had a good amount of They might be Giants there too. Surprisingly TMBG are harder to find

How in the world are those prices so CHEAP??? I live in Indy and every one of those cds you picked up would’ve been $6-8 or $10-12, possibly more. Primal Fear, Masterplan, Axel Rudi Pell, Eclipse???? I would have gone nuts in that store. Too bad we don’t have cool stores like that here. Well, we do but not at those prices. Good for you.

Hey. I live in South Eastern CT. and unfortunately there are no record stores at all. It's so sad. The only one is the FYE chain in the mall which is crap. I need to take a road trip badly.
