+Brenna Baker I'm only 15 and this video makes me wanna be a glass artist, I have never tried it so I don't know if I got the skill to do it. but I do won't to try, if that skill don't work out I'm going to be a blacksmith.

Wow, thanks! Glassblowing is a lot of fun. If you love it, stick with it! Blacksmithing is pretty awesome as well! Many possibilities if you combined the two!

I've only gone to see one person that makes glass sculptures and it was really amazing to watch. I appreciate the craft of any art work. sometimes I don't think people realize how much work goes into many art forms. this was beautiful to watch. zebra fish was my favorite but my mother would probably say she likes the snowman. she loves snowman sculptures. amazing job at what you do 😊

The snowman is officially the most adorable thing ever. I would definitely come to your studio in Hollywood, but it's a shame I live near London, in England. Plus, don't think my mum would let me go across the world on a plane to make beautiful glass.

great work, but i am curious about how you get the glass on teh end of the rod in the first place? do you have a container of molten glass you just dip the rod into?
@jarekare9 жыл бұрын
+engelteir molten glass is stored in a furnace that's kept at 2,150 degrees celsius, and yeah, dip the rod into it. :) and to re-heat it while working to make sure it stays pliable, you use a 'glory hole', which is a chamber at around 2,000 degrees celsius.

Brenna baker when You blow into the glass is it hard to breath or just very hard and do you think that for someone with asthma who wants to do blow glass stuff would have problems or not just curious enough pls reply

These are amazing! It makes me want to visit your studio but unfortunately i live all the way over in England so it's kind've out of my budget. I'm studying art at A level so artists like you inspire me so much, personally i've only ever worked with ceramics so i think i'll stick with that for the minute, working with glass looks intimidating... seriously though, you are awesome! :D
