My brother lost his eye to a rare eye cancer. The person who created his prosthetic eye changed his life. He’s a fan of Big Foot (the concept), so they even added a small glass Sasquatch to the eye (unseen by others, only visible when taken out) just to add a playful aspect. I have so much respect for the skill and passion required to do this.

Such a detailed and well made video! I'm really curious as to what kind of cane she makes. Is it a white core with coloured stripes? coloured stripes around a clear core?

If I needed a prosthetic eye, I'd get one made that looks like a googly eye for halloween.

Right? How cumbersome for her to be one handed.

Check out Dr Lindsay Fitzharris' book, THE FACEMAKER....really an exceptional read about the prostheses and psychological aspects of disfigurement (WWI) , when damaged men returned from the war. Id bet she spoke with this oculist in her research, too.
