The BEST part about this is that Sam admitted that on SEVERAL occasions earlier in the game, Brennan guessed that that was what was going on but Sam had all of it cut. So the yell in frustration gets even better when you find out that he knew THE WHOLE TIME and kept being told that wasn't it.

My favourite part of this is Brennan forcing Sam to admit, years later, that Brennan had deduced the proceedings pretty early on but wasn't allowed to reveal it until the others had worked it out. Because, after all, the rule of the game was that he could not win. So he had like 20, 30 minutes to just seethe and craft that intense, epic monologue.

He has such respect for it - this little story did not surprise me to learn of those details; this episode was one of the best for Game Changer, followed by the musical episode that started Play It By Ear and those other episodes that spawned make some noise
