He means non-americanized Mexican food. So like Traditional. I had the same experience in China. Actual Chinese food is so much better than American Chinese food. Word if advice for anyone who DOES visit China. Do not eat at the clearly tourist trap food places. They adjust recipes to for Western tastes. Go find a nice mom and pop run place to get truly authentic stuff. Also the Mom and Pop places are actually safer to eat at cus they try their best not to cut corners with health and safety.

Everyone knows that Chinese restaurants aren't serving the authentic food of mainland China. They are their own thing and yes, there are expected staples for the menu and beef and broccoli is one of those staples, along with general tso chicken, etc.

Turkey ribs are actually a shoulder cut of turkey meat. This delicious cut is typically considered a scrap piece and tossed out with the unwanted bits of the turkey carcass. What a shame, though, because the turkey shoulder has the most similar texture and flavor to a pork rib.
