Lake Mohave Fishing! Chasing Striped Bass Boils #2

Hey Guys! Back at Lake Mohave again, with another TWO part video!
On the first part I go out solo and chase boils all morning. Definitely a lot of pressure on the lake. But I managed to sit on a couple boils solo for a little bit and get on some good action.
Part 2 I go out on an afternoon bite with my youngest Lana. The fishing was incredible right from the start. Caught as much fish in 45 minutes as I did the entire Part 1 haha. Definitely some amazing fishing memories made on this short trip.

HAHA yeah i definitely need a bigger net for mohave. I don't always have the boat so i wanted to take advantage of being able to bring some people out and get them on some fish.

That's a sweet trick by tapping em with the net to bring em around. Ur videos are tempting me to start hunting for the stripers! I stay busy and have fun with the small mouth on Mohave but I believe I need to switch up some👍

Good stuff Bren. I was at Lake Mojave on Saturday. It was crowded out there. I didn't have much luck looking for bass in the morning. I looked for stripper for about an hour with no luck as well. Good to see you catch the ones i left for you out there for Sunday. Tight lines bud, and i hope to see you out there one day.

Hey! Thanks for the support and sorry for the late reply. Its been a very busy week. But It depends on what type of fishing you're doing for the lb test line. 10lb test is what i use for mead. But i may toss on heavier line for heavier lures or lures with bigger hooks that require you to set a little harder. Mohave top water I go with 20lb test. But for bass you would want to drop that back down, cause they can see the line there since the water is so clear. For Willow striper, i like to use 25lb test.
