Did you trade your old grain cart?? Good to see a little red!
@EmiDK8 жыл бұрын
I have been using a Brent 882 for a season when working i was working Canada. Looks like 99% like this red one. Not a single problem. Easy to pull and handy when filling grain bags as well semis A good thing is to have a camera on the end of the auger to see when the semi is full. Know from expierence that it sucks to throw grain from the ground back up in the trailer.
@tevinkrause5638 жыл бұрын
one thing you need to watch especially with Brent roll tarps we have a 1080 Brent and those cables will get loose and then it'll be hard to roll your tarp you just have to keep them at the right tension

I ask because say when the 8235r is having electrical problems. and if its during harvest season you could be shut down. I know the 4640 will have enough power since it has the same power as the 8235r im just talking weight wise will it be heavy enough to not just get pushed around the field
@adamsturgeon53098 жыл бұрын
On our farm all we use is international and case ih. Had very bad luck with John Deere.
@robertreznik93308 жыл бұрын
I purchased a Unverferth 1115 last December and now I have an extra Kinz 640 with oversize axles and tires. Around here nothing is selling if less than 1200 bu.. My 640 carries 37000 lbs of corn with new augers and tube liner. I should have replaced it 3 years ago when a dealer was selling out, because I will never be getting much for it. The Brent 670 must have been cheap.

Instead of a grain cart, you guys need a nice grain truck. That way you don't need a tractor and gravity wagons to haul back to the farm. P.S. You guys need a Gleaner combine instead of a inefficient John Deere. I like the Grain Cart too.
@RodHays8 жыл бұрын
Looks like its almost brand new to me.

would the 4640 run this grain cart if it had to in a pinch. how when my family buys new equipment we always try to get something that at least one of our other tractors can run
@robertreznik93308 жыл бұрын
I have used a 7800 mfd on my 660 bu cart for many years. On the 4640 one just needs to engage the pto easy as not to strain the auger shaft connection. The 4640 pto is not modulated. The 8235R will play with the Brent cart!
@oliverknapp31048 жыл бұрын
I know it will have the power im just talking about weight since in alot of there videos they talk about the 4640 being light. so I didn't know if it would be heavy enough
@robertreznik93308 жыл бұрын
Some of the cart's weight will help with the traction.

@elmcustomharvesting10728 жыл бұрын
you guys would be better off just to buy a big tri axle dump truck. you would think the cost you paid to haul a tractor trailer load of corn and the cost of a grain cart you'd have your truck paid off in a few years
@jakubdrwal86368 жыл бұрын
that is what I was thinking
@McGillicutty888 жыл бұрын
You can use the truck for other purposes all year around, a grain cart is fairly worthless. But I guess theyre doing alright paying for trucking along with paying someone else to spray and spread fertilizer. Might as well get rid of the combine and pay someone to do that too.

Why do you guys always buy second hand machines
@ryanmercer33238 жыл бұрын
Because it's cheaper
@TheZwerfer148 жыл бұрын
Ryan Mercer How is it cheaper? You have more maintenance and a less developed machine. Also less parts and service.
@jakenichols89888 жыл бұрын
+TheZwerfer14 that's not always true, depends on how well the previous owner took care of it
@TheZwerfer148 жыл бұрын
Jake Nichols And the quality of the machine itself. Like the kind of metal used and kind of bearings or moving parts without bearing.... I dont know how you call them. :P Its not always how the previous owner took care of it.
@45Deere95008 жыл бұрын
More maintenance? If you buy a good used machine that's had regular maintenance, there's no more maintenance then if it were new. There is, most likely less life overall left in a used machine, but that's why you don't pay new price.

I dont get it. Didnt they half a year ago show they had 4 as in 4 grain carts??? like 2 green ones and 2 red ones didnt they at that sale? Why they need a new grain cart?I would run the old ones hard till they really really are dead.No I would use and extra money into improving/chabgeing how they farm. Like buying expment types they dont have yet or seeds chemicals or whatever. I am not sure that buying something bigger of something they already have is going to pay off .... unless ... they increase the size of the land they work and that that ...... in turn ... tell them ... we need bigger equipment.
