To ever do WHAT to a guitar??
@waynecadbury8218 ай бұрын
@@Flyingwithoutmings Strap on, a term used to describe a guitar player placing his guitar strap around his/her shoulders to support the instrument while playing, hope this clears it up. ""go down" as in Go down in history.

Brent Mason. Imitated by many but never equaled. Brent created something that made country guitar so exciting. Not counting the fact that he is such an amazing jazz player too. He is among the greatest session players ever recorded in my opinion.

1. Brent’s guitar playing has always spoken for itself. It turns out he is also cool as can be. Great to see. 2. Just to mention one solo, for example, on “Life’s Too Long to Live Like This” on a Ricky Skaggs album. The idea that Brent basically made that up on the spot rather than working it out ahead of time, I don’t think I’ll be able to take it!

Didn't realise Reggie Young had passed away. Such a nice man and came up with some of the most iconic guitar intros, Son Of A Preacher, Suspicious Minds. ..

My favorite Brent performance was his playing with Hank Thompson. Right around 1988 Both on tv and in the studio at step one records. For a very young guy, he was playing licks only a much older player would've known. He covered a lot of styles that really fit the songs well. Really amazing.
