My sis took me to see Faster Pussycat at L'Amour in Brooklyn in 1987 .. It was 16 and over, but I was 12 years old ... That show changed my life -- the music, the girls at the show, the rock and roll vibe ... Brent and Greg were guitar gods to me, the coolest rock and roll stars ... its great to see Brent here, thanks

Brent has always been cool to me. I was a 10 year old little kid when Faster Pussycat put out their first album and I somehow got a copy of the cassette and I just rode with them for their first 3 album run. I have to say I thought they improved by leaps and bounds each album. From my favorite tune Ship Rolls In all the way to Carly Simon's cover of You're So Vain, I loved it! Our Canadian MTV channel Much Music had Faster on Medium rotation for a few years.

I am sure he'd remember my bros day parties!! Great interview. Found you going down the rabbit hole. Loved your interview with Mandy Brixx!! I would love to chat with you about growing up in the."suburbs" and sneaking down to the strip at 13. 😆 🤣 😂 I loved FP. Go Wildcats!!!

I was a big Faster Pussycat's first album. Great stuff! I shared a song or two from that album with a punk guitarist I was jamming with - he hated glam metal but I introduced him to some cool stuff that he seems to dig. That song "Shooting You Down" was badass. I also made him watch GNR Live at the Ritz and he was blown away. The bands of the 80s could be heavy and punk AF but packaged differently. Tough time in the 80s because music was marketed for teens. Music was polarizing. There was PUNK. There was METAL. And you had to be one or the other in school social circles. Goodbye Headbangers Ball, hello 120 Minutes. It was a weird time of metal bands cutting their hair, releasing ground industrial influenced albums and straying away from the party music.

Thouroughly enjoyed this interview & am looking forward to the end of this pandemic phenomenon. Your fans need the live shows as much as you need the stage scene from what I gathered off the interview. Your definitely a motivated dream chaser, (much like myself,) who won't settle for a mediocre sound. All the hours of effort you & the others have put forth writing, recording & touring with Faster Pussycats may not have been respected by the record company, but your fans still appreciate ya for the time you gave up. I haven't heard the new sound as of yet, but I will soon enough. Where can your fans find any up coming show dates? I am overly anxious to see SIN CITY SINNERS live. ... ***F.Y.I.*** Mark changed his name to: Mark Michalsky Not sure of physical address New York, NY He can be found in LAS VEGAS, NV occassionally as well.... Address upon request...

First, I think the interviewer is empathetic and patient, and she did a great job asking interesting questions, but am I the only one who is sick and tired of hearing random, unsubstantiated claims about Mark Michals? It seems like Faster Pussycat is hellbent on manufacturing a false narrative around Mark, creating an image that he is crazy (with the exception of Greg Steele, who has genuine and honest character). If you were Mark’s real friend you wouldn’t repeat rumors as facts especially ones that paint him in such a harsh and cruel manner. I also think it’s odd that having been his “friend” for many years they don’t know enough about him to find him. You guys never knew his real last name? That never came up? Even if what was said is true, it only illustrates the seriousness of substance use disorders. Mark is a person with a substance use disorder but he is so much more than that. People like Brent are how persons with substance use disorders struggle more than they need to. We’ve built a world where those suffering this disorder are villains and should be shunned by society. If anyone who is reading this has a substance use disorder, you are not misunderstood by everyone. There are people who understand, love you, and want to see you beat this demon. Mark, whether you are here or in another life, you will always be loved and valued.
