I can't put my finger on one thing about coach venables but damn he's a motivational machine. Everything about him makes you want to give 100% to not disappoint him. Just a fantastic example of a leader. He makes me feel like I can do anything and I've never met the man.

train'em hard, soldier! combat is mainly boredom. but, when it gets lively, it gets really lively! being trained is the key to them surviving but they also need to be aware in combat sometimes you number is up and no matter how fast you run you wont out run it! not being mean just truthful! train, train and then train some more!

His energy is contagious. Don't think I've ever seen a coach so excited about their job. While he is in many ways the opposite of Barry Switzer, I also see many similarities. The love for his players, the great memory and story telling ability and the confidence just oozes from him. So excited to see him lead the team.
