I don’t see Hawkins winning the job next year. Mateer didn’t come to OU to sit. I have no doubt conversations were had with Hawkins before the announcement of Mateer coming that this would be the situation. And I think it’s great! Hawkins has skills be he needs some refinement and he can get that this next season being the #2 guy. I’m excited for the future!

After having so many receivers out with injuries this season why would anyone be upset with adding depth??? If we had had better depth in our receiver room this season would have looked a hell of a lot different.....chill out peeps coach V knows exactly what he's doing!!!!

2025 will have similarities to Gabriel transferring in with Lebby and he knew the system while JA backed up. 2025 will be Mateer transferring in and knowing Arbuckle and his system, while Hawkins learns.
