Oklahoma is so pathetic when they count, getting some lower division punter & a returning player who only saw limited time this year because of injury. It's not going to be a good 2025 season for Oklahoma. Especially when your schedule is almost the same as last year. Except this year, you guys go to S. Carolina, Tennessee & Alabama.

If the revenue is going to be equally shared.. whats the point of front loading all these players with temp money? Just for the new guys to come on and pretty much have a cap due to revenue sharing.

There’s no cap on NIL deals. Revenue sharing is not the same thing.

NIL =/= revenue share, revenue sharing might help keep SOME top tier group of five kids at their program, the real solution is and I know it's kinda sad but we need to find ways to shovel as much money into the programs NIL, if we want to keep or get top end players.

OU coaches have to use more common sense. This year's blunder was letting a proven QB (Dillon Gabriel) go to bet the farm on Arnold, not knowing if he'd be another Rattler. Arnold grabbed a lions share of NIL money and then shuffled off to Auburn. We all know what Dillon did for Oregon. At some point in time, I'd like to watch OU win a National Championship. Here we are going into 2025 and we're trying to piece a team together for next year. That's not going to get it done.

OU did what they were supposed to do. They couldn't look into there magic 8-ball and determine they needed to go against the normal grain and do something completely off the wall. This isn't Texas. Arch Manning has been getting paid millions to sit still for 2 years. OU doesn't have that luxury. Gabriel was leaving regardless.

yes the 5 star with what we thought was amazing potential was picked over the rental who did a solid job when he was here, Gabriel maybe makes this injury riddled terrible offense look slightly better, the reality is no one was doing well within this offense, I don't care if we have prime Patrick Mahomes.

No sources all speculation and conspiracy theories? This I do know the longer Oklahoma doesn't have a solid committed quarterback there will be no high quality recievers going to Oklahoma. BV playing this long game with a dude who's being offered a big bag to stay at his current school is another sign he's not head coach material. And if you think there will be a second picking after the playoffs you're only fooling yourself because It will be slim picking.

I really hope we dont run the RPO anymore. It just doesnt work in modern football. Look at how easily our crappy offense was defended, look at how Tennessee was as explosive as they were the first 3 weeks, Mississippi state, the list goes on. The RPO is almost like the Bone or the Veer, those concepts are so dead that they work if you use them once every so often
