When I was 14, in 1963, I discovered the Ventures featuring Nokie Edwards and my musical career took on a whole new persona. He has been my musical inspiration my entire life. I respect his enormous talent much more than a simple post could ever say. R.I.P. Nokie. Maybe I'll get the chance to meet you on the other side.

I saw Nokie this week on the Smith River in an Oregon outside concert. He is a delightful entertainer, and just as polished a musician as always. What a treat! Keep on rockin' Nokie, rumors of your death are greatly exaggerated. We;re still smilin'. LawyerChuck

What makes this version so special is the interaction between the two guitar masters and how effortless they play. The acoustic augmented by Nokie's precision runs is simply great and I've listened numerous times and I'm amazed how well they together.
