as a kid back in the late 80's and early 90's bret was without doubt the best there was,the best there is and the best there ever will be.
@Ijustinsultedyou4 жыл бұрын
Not in the 80’s he wasn’t. He was a bottom of the card filler back then maxed out in a tag team division.

bret hart's autobiography is probably the best book about prowrestling I have ever read. he comes clean about everything, his problems with infidelity, his drug use, his best matches. its just pure excellence
@g0t212 жыл бұрын
What a rarity. Raw honesty.. as raw as it gets. To tell it like it is without the inte intention of selling big bucks.. for the sake of truth. Mr. Hart sounds genuinely nice person and I remember growing up watching him. He's always been my favorite.. and the reason I am who I am.. to be a nice person and not succumbing to corporate control. Stay honest with oneself..truly honest.. is what i learned from BH. Even if the truth is hard to swallow at times. Thanks Mr. Hart for being a great person!

Wow, that was beyond interesting. I have so much respect for Bret Hart...I grew up in the 80's and 90's and he was always one of my favorites to watch as a kid. Its a sad story but I'm glad to see he came out of everything okay. Thanks for posting!

only thing in this interview i disagree with him about is him referring to mick foley saying he doesnt understand the history, foley grew up as an avid wrestling fan and used to skip important classes etc to goto wrestling shows... i think he understands the history.... bret hart is a legend and i have alot of respect for him, especially after this interview

i never got to meet Bret but I got very close to him once. I was watching him talk to a couple of kids but before I could approach him he walked off. I did, however, meet Owen once and I have a picture of me and him where I'm holding his tag team belt (w/ Yokozuna).

3:51 "Do whatever it takes to get home. Don't lose your mind doing this stuff"...Yet in 1997 he did just that!...I love & respect Bret, but tons of his interviews are filled with contradictions...I bought his DVD and there too he contradicts himself endlessly...

Bret, Shawn, Hogan. That's the top of the mountain.
@Ijustinsultedyou4 жыл бұрын
Bret and Shawn are mid level card fillers compared to Hogan. Honestly they didn’t draw much as champion. If they did they would of held the title more times and longer. That mountain is Hogan, Austin, Flair and I’ll let you fill in the last one.

Great Interview but I agree melanotanman that the music and cutting Bret Hart off was wrong. Especially when he was talking about Hennig, he just cut him off. I hate when shows do disrespectful stuff. If anything record the interview all at once, then cut for commercials around the questions being answered in full. Bret Hart deserves that respect.

I really dont know why Bret said that. Bret and Foley have tremendous respect for each other. Foley is an admirer of his and Bret called him a great wrestler in his book. That remark was on off I guess.

Man that's just sad when he's talking about it. I could easily see how Owen would go to big brother for guidance in everything, and I definitely believe Bret would not have allowed Owen to do that dangerous stunt.

@IDIOTdella He would have stayed if Vince hadn't cut his contract cause he could no longer afford to pay him what he had signed for 4 or 5 years prior to the screw job. So Bret left so Vince could keep going as promotion and also so Vince could give a few million to ECW to keep them going so that way WCW WWF would have a alternate program to keep the fans split
@mylifeshero15 жыл бұрын

the thing i've noticed and I know i'm going to draw flack by this but I don't care. Brett and Hogan pretty much say the same things, they both bash wrestlers and praise others and say the exact opposite about individual wrestlers so it all comes down to who you believe and I believe neither of them. I think they both are just saying what they're saying for the next paycheck. We will never know the truth and neither one is telling it.
@1thenatural115 жыл бұрын
no it actually probablly will if ur an internet wrestling fan who looks things up you will see that mcmahon will fight hart at mania since he is signed until mania.
