I don’t blame owen’s widow Martha wanting nothing to do with the wwe. They took her husband and the father of her kids away. Vince sued Martha for breaching Owen’s contract, that is unbelievable.

Thank you!! A lot of the marks can’t seem to get that through their heads. Owen primarily was a family man the wrestling business was just that. Continuing the ppv was pretty stupid especially the end where Vince is carried off on a stretcher.

@@calamaty9963 it was disgusting, let’s scrape Owen off the mat and let’s get on with the show. Owen was planning to leave wrestling and become a teacher. Heartbreaking.

I honestly don't blame Martha one iota. By all accounts it was WWE's negligence that got Owen killed. I wouldn't want them making money off of him in any way, shape or form either. Martha isn't erasing his legacy, she's standing up for her husband who very unfortunately can't stand up for himself. His legacy will always be brought up and his fans will always adore him.

Respectfully, I can see both Bret and Owens Widows point of view. However, many fans and would be fans of Owen Hart and his legacy have been denied seeing him in the mainstream. Growing up, Owen was my favorite wrestler, my brothers being Bret. We usto practice the sharpshooter on each other, my brother would call me the nugget in our make believe promos, just kids 10 and 5 at the time. Later in life I looked up who Owen was, not just the wrestler, but the father, husband, brother, and friend. Thank you JR, Conrad and Bret for this segment. Most of all, Thank you Owen for being an exemplary human being, and my hero.

Hearing about Owen and JR locking up shows what kind of guy Owen was. We know he was a prankster and a joker from the stories, but that shows that they had a way of showing affection to each other. That was their personal version of a hug or a handshake. You don't lock up with someone stiff like that randomly. You do that because of the respect and appreciation you have for each other. That's how they chose to show it instead of a pat on the back or an arm around the shoulder. Owen is still sorely missed.

I hated the nugget as a kid, but as I aged, know the profession. That hatred becomes respect. He was wasted in the mid card & Wrestlemania X is one of the best matches ever. RIP The King Of Hart's. Gone, but never forgotten.

If Vince McMahon had a shred of integrity. He would give Martha all the footage of Owen in his WWE career. Give her the right to it 100% no-strings-attached. Then Martha could have a video produced. The WWE wouldn't make another dime off of Owen Hart. Which they should never. Martha could help the Owen Hart Foundation along with his children and grandchildren future. Brett needs to refocus on who's really to blame. Martha understandably wants nothing to do with the WWE. It's not fair that she continually gets blamed. Vince owns all the footage, give it to her. I'm sure she'd be happy to share with the fans.

Brets point of view is that Owens career should be able to be recognised officially by the WWE for his family and his fans. Martha's point of view is that the WWE is the company that took her husband away. Its one of those tricky situations where what both of them are saying is right. Bret wants his brothers great career recognised and Martha does not was Owen associated with the company that killed him, none of them are wrong

Owen's widow and her kids are >>> Bret's opinion on the subject. Literally, Bret just wants Owen's back catalogue opened up because he had some amazing matches with Owen, and it's about HIS legacy, and not Owen's. She did 100% right by her husband and her children, moving forward from his tragic death.

Bret is a great wrestler and I know he loves his brother and wants his career to be put on display for the fans but he needs to leave this subject alone because it's not just Martha, Oje and Athena want nothing to do with the WWE honoring their father. He should respect their wishes.
