Owen heart was one of the few actually good men in wrestling. You will hear almost any reference his kindness. A true family man, stood away from drugs, and wanted to be a teacher. RIP Owen, everyone misses you.

Much love, man. I was revising for a Uni exam at the time and my brother calledme as it was unfolding n although I knew he wouldnt joke about somethin so serious, I held on to the thought that maybe he was until he turned up the tv and I could hear the team speakin on it. Top top guy, performer and funny dude. RIP!

He tried to maintain the kayfabe, you can tell, but that part about wanting his kids to be able to watch him was all real. Maybe that wasn't quite a kayfabe-break, but I know that the King of Harts is all-around a better guy than his in-ring persona. This is tough to watch! It's almost been 20 years and I still miss him. I'd like to think Bret agreed when Owen said 'I'm the best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be'
