Best Wrestler of all time to me.. He had such a philosophical way of delivering his performance. Taking out his opponents little by little form their limbs or will reverse something into a pin.. He had such great ideas.. Im glad i grew up in the great days of wrestling.

Always a huge fan of Bret's. Glad to see him friendly again with WWE, Vince and Shawn. Always loved the matches with Bret and Curt Hennig. My two favorites of all time. There just aren't a lot of matches like that anymore.

This is really well done. Why Bret was never made a booker I'll never know. Thanks so much for sharing!

within a match that's a commentator and i don't think bret would try to be one. "story teller" wether in a match or not, gimmicks or real life and business wise. look the man grew up in the business of wrestling, great stu hart was a promoter in wrestling stampede..

Sting and Ronnie Garvin were the first Americans to use it, who got it from Riki Chōshū in Japan in the early 80's. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharpshooter_(professional_wrestling)

@@Oz1976 LOL Guy Sting wasn't even a Wrestler in the early 1980s so your wrong right there. He started to the late middle part of the 1980s like 1985-1986.

@@bigkev3184 you're an idiot..."early 80's" is a relative term considering it's 2019. You attack "early 80's" because you can't refute what I said. Grow the hell up. What I said is fact. Oh and Sting's first gig with Power Team was in 1985, he started training prior to that...get the hell out of here trying to be a contrarian.

@@bigkev3184 yes… sting was much later. Garvin used it, I saw dynamite kid use it once in the 80’s (probably getting it on one of his trips to Japan).

Oh how I do wish that Bret could re-open his family's "Hart Dungeon" school of hard knocks,so he could train and give us REAL wrestlers so WWE could tell guys like Cena "sorry pal..we need more talented performers than you" and we can get back having exciting matches to watch again in WWE.

So which Bret do we believe: the one here who invented the sharpshooter in Japan or the one in the book who credited Sting with having done it first and Konnan for teaching it to him in the 90's?
@kanwaljeetkj
@kanwaljeetkj 10 жыл бұрын
Bret Hart had a concussion that led to stroke and went through other family tragedies which only added insult to injury. Most of the people I've seen in such condition can't even remember basic things. I am glad that Bret is in a much better condition. And Bret never said he invented the move, he's saying he 'used' it first in Japan. And of course, Bret Hart invented the Sharpshooter, the others are Scorpion Deathlock.

Just for the record, sting was far from first lol. Garvin used it against Valentine in 1990 in wwf. I saw dynamite kid use it in the 80’s once… probably getting it from one of his trips to Japan.

I met him and was there live when this took place. Although he does indeed have an ego and honestly is full of shit with certain things, he does overall have a heart of gold despite the fact his book makes sound like a true narcarrist. Which I believe he is. He's not one of my favorite wrestlers anymore after reading his book that's for damn sure. But I was just happy that he was finally at peace with himself in life. But I am appauled he's married to a 20 year old, he has kids older then that FFS.
