Thank you for an inspirational presentation. "Therapeutic nutritional ketosis intervention" drives home the power of this medical treatment. Beyond my wildest expectation I witnessed my wonderful daughter return to sanity within 2 or 3 months of getting into moderate ketosis after 15 years of severe and chronic anorexia. We tried every medical intervention and modality available to pull her out of this nasty disease, and nothing made a dent. It is so important that the word gets out about this powerful intervention. Thank you!

Excellent talk. Nutrition / teaching in general takes EXTRA time. Most appts allow only 15 min. I don't think practitioners have time to LISTEN to what patients are saying or FEELING. Often I feel practitioners poo poo what patients learn on the internet. Lots of bad stuff on YT but there is lots of GOOD like this talk. Makes us THINK. thank you

Great idea to prescribe this ketonic nutritional intervention with meal plans, customization towards what people like to eat, calls to help support and answer questions, and a ketone glucose monitor to check progress. A CGM script would also be nice to verify glucose levels all day long.😊. I'm doing this diet and after 2 years it does have it's challenges.

Thank you so much for this wonderful presentation. I have been on low carb for almost 20 months now and it has given me PEACE - in my gut and in my well-being. In my country (the Philippines), I still have to meet a doctor who incorporates nutrition with medical practice. With all these info going on for years, it is rather sad that practicing doctors here remain unaware, or they are but choose to be so.

20:17 We need to not start young children on what used to be known as occasional treats. Kids are weaned on to sugar. My own grandchildren go to minimal twenty birthday parties usual kid rubbish food served. When you add on holidays and outings its a constant diet of rubbish. Being overweight and obese is a contributing factor to poor mental health. Keto is something that Doctors have very little understanding of.

I feel your pain. I try not to add to the problem by having sugar in. The other granny is a Baker and they get over dosed. I paint with them and colur in by silly puppets and try and amuse them . We explore bug motels out my back garden. Ideally I would love to take them to the beach collect shells or to the theater to watch musicals. But their mother is a bit of a controlling person and does not want me to bond. I took the older boy to his first panto five years ago and he still chats about it. To me food especially cakes and rubbish does not equal love.

Total chol~170-189, HDL-50, LDL~120. Trigly-50s-60s, Apo B ~100, SmLDL- 30 mg/dl (0r ~300 in number of particles(limit is 527), BP -115/70. Hovering a1c ~6 from last 5 years. I am a FULL BLOWN DIABETIC and yet my a1c numbers are ~6 for 23 years simply by using FOOD AS MEDICINE. Walk 10,000 steps 5 days/week, BMI~23. I will NEVER use the WORD REMISSIOn since glucose can shoot up to 250 with in 1/2 hr of eating high carb meal (ex:RICE, PASTA, etc). If I do it, I wll EXCERCISE for 45 mins to bring it down to

As long as healthcare can profit from ignoring what you do for your condition , then other diabetics will not be advised (properly) that they can also do what you do. Theres no profit in cures.
