This made me tear up a little… I visited Hawaii a few years ago, and took a small bus trip on The Road to Hana in Maui. You get to meet native people and learn about the authentic Hawaiin cultures, values, and everything. It really was so unique and different than just walking up to a waterfall on your own. When Bretman mentions that the Hawaiin people are different, I felt that. They are so real, pure, and genuine, and make me want to be a better person as well. A beautiful place with beautiful people, I want to travel there again one day and support the locals even more. Mahalo to the native Hawaiins I have met, you have changed my heart and mind for the better, more than you can imagine. 💙💚

7:05 Native Americans also had gays, historically speaking ....... I think homophobia was ingrained with someone else's culture who wasn't originally native around here. One person said it started when colonists started moving around, because they were very religious and intolerant. Their religious intolerance turns to hate, so there's bullying and oppression that happened and still does impact today's society to a degree. That makes sense.
