I have this creative mind, and most of it is being utilized elsewhere, but I am not motivated to apply it to myself, which, ironically, I want to. But, still, there's this thing on me that feels like shackles that prevent me from doing so because I tend to put higher expectations for myself and scare the f out of me if I do it and never get to finish it or will not satisfy my expectations. This is a problem when your work is most of the time appreciated by somebody but never appreciate yourself for doing the work that gets appreciated. And then told myself after "failure is not an option but necessary", Man! this vlog reminds me of all these things... ("lose the sense of what winning is" - all that I have said flooded through me when I heard this)

Meditation has changed my perspective and my life, big time! Taking care of our mental & emotional health is as important (if not more) as physical exercise. Doing both will make your present life at least 10x better. Plus, it gives that instant high after even just a 5-minute meditation sesh. I swear! However, in this vlog you confirmed my assumptions that behind that merry and happy mask there is a hard struggle. You left me there crying. Yes Bret self care is the most important to do to yourself that people tend to forget because of their busy life. i started doing yoga 2 months ago even 10 minutes stretching when i wake up in the morning before a busy day. it helped me a lot since loosing my husband of 23 years because of cancer. thank you specially this topic on this blog.
