Do I keep the base on or do I cut the bottom and glue it straight onto the base????

@loweloking88 I assume you mean the flight stand. You can clip the bottom off if you want and glue it straight to base but the bond won't be as strong as having it round base attached to it. I always glue the flight stand base to the regular base as you can easily cover it.
