Love you Brett, I saw you in Toronto ohhh 2006 a kind of 'private' company concert. As you walked on stage bare feet while heavy snow was falling in the streets and sang a few songs including "I will be the one who loves you the most" well, I fell in love with what you had to say and how you live your life. I left the abusing Co. (well conned to) found my independent ways and now live happily. More than a decade later... In there, their you are. I do not have enough to buy tickets for your concerts but we were happy to hear your voice in Vancouver for the folk concert a year or two ago, a good feeling. Happy you are doing well. And. I love Brett Dennen, saw him at the Fillmore a couple of months ago. Excellent show as well. This song hits home, I have terminal cancer and I’m fuckin living it up! I always had a Harley but after my first operation I sold the old Shovel and bought a brand new Road Glide and rode it across America. Then after my second operation I bought a small trimaran sailboat and take it out on SF Bay and rip it up! Then I decided I needed a dirt bike to ride the fireroads in the Sierras where I bought a house by a lake. Don’t wait for shit to happen, get out your calendar and make it happen! Carpe Diem!
