I was there at the Enterprise Center Watch Party when they won the Stanley Cup and OMG, the atmosphere was insane! It’s a memory that gives me chills just thinking about it.

Well stated! Keenan’s only cup was with the talented and veteran NY Rangers who had plenty of savvy leaders in that locker room. There’s a great KZbin video of Mike Richter and Glenn Healy, who were the 2 Rangers goalies that year. They both had very critical things to say about Keenan’s coaching and basically said the two of them were on their own and had to lean on each other for moral support and looking for flaws and guidance on how to fix them, because they had no goalie coach. When you get players off the record and off video, they are even less diplomatic about Keenan. He destroyed a great Blues team which had the potential to win The Cup back in the mid-90’s.

So do you EVER wonder as a DIE HARD PASSIONATE Blue fan what IF Keenan didn't come in and trade away our Stars like he did. I always felt like if ownership had brought in the right leader to lead the Blues instead of the Hitler of hockey that EVERYONE hated and did NOT want to play for that maybe we could have won a cup. The players he traded away all won a cup elsewhere so they had it in them. We had the talent, Hull, Shanny on and on.... Look at what happened to this years team that was DEAD LAST in January. Armstrong brought in the RIGHT COACH, they got a little lucky with an out of nowhere goalie with Binnington which they desperate needed and the rest is history. It still amazes me how no one saw this talent in Binnington who is easily the Curt Warner II of STL sports history. Keenan was NOT the right coach. He won a cup in NY because of one person, Mark Messier, he was the leader of that team, Keenan was just the figurehead. I have always wondered that 🙄 🤔, what if and this teams success makes me think it even more. Hopefully this years team will bring it home and fill those "What if" voids of Blues fans that have fu--ing suffered long enough. I am SO tired of feeling like the Cubs of hockey. Damn it, Let's get this done Boys and bring it home for all the fans, a GREAT ownership and loyal alumni like Plager, Chaser, Federko etc, etc, etc... The CUP is long overdue to STL, DAMN IT 😤 LGB's!!!!
