This is the probably the only KZbin ad I have fully watched. Immediately I was captivated ,and it amazes me how something so small can inspire people as well as illustrate an entire culture in a mere two minutes.

This would make a great Food Network or Cooking Channel TV show. Although there were other shows along the same idea, I'd watch it just to listen to his soothing narration.

I went online to learn how to make paneer and was so intrigued by this video by Brett. It is one of the only advertisements that I have ever watched. It makes me want to travel there. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful ad, one of the few I actually watched all the way through.

I gotta say, this was probably the only add that made me interested immediately for it's food, discovering the root of wasabi, Japans culture, and the narration. Thank you for showing the story of wasabi, even if its an add, I still liked it and would to know if this will be a show in the future.

I thought this was the content I was clicking on, when I saw it was an ad I figured something was wrong? A very interesting story. The wasabi farm in Japan was really beautful … imagine if all the farms in the US were as beautiful and conscientious as this wasabi farm. A very interesting and enlightening story … glad I watched this ad … there is a first for everything. But I suppose, now comes the hard sell ! ;-)

@@lilianrodriguez4204 Well you're 12 years late, but I DO appreciate you taking the chance to clue me in! (I'm glad YT didn't eat your comment & I got to see it) From what I can tell, he must have started a YT channel a year after I made my comment, lol. Which is pretty cool! I went and subbed to him! Again, thank you very much!

Hey Brett, can you post a link the story about the origin of wasabi, I am very interested, in fact a week or so ago I was looking for a place to buy wasabi seeds or seedlings to plant and grow in the US so I can make my own. Great video.

Even a lot of Japanese people don't know the taste of real fresh wasabi. It is way different from wasabi paste which we can see at supermarket. I hope someday you guys have a chance to try it. It will change your opinion of wasabi!!!!
