Ignore *xtreme yumnam* I exactly was going to write the same comment. Aussies mostly had lot of pride and ofcourse talent in abundance. Agression was in their blood. With all that, bret lee was different. With all that aggression and pace, he never sledged often. Maybe he kind of liked the rivalry between shoaib akthar

Shoaib wasn't just an ordinary fast bowler. Despite being the fastest, it was his aggression coupled with the pace that projected a terrifying image in the mind of the opposition. Add to that his sledging coupled with his big, muscular physique. And then.. the ability to swing the ball both ways, lethal with the old ball and new ball, killer yorkers and bouncers (batsmen hadn't yet fully adopted steel-toed shoes for protection). Multiple stress and fear factors to deal with at the crease. Rare gem.

Do you get any kind of pleasure from it ? Brother the world is full of differences, you would not find everyone according to your own expectations.... But I just wanna say that apart from those legends I was always a Brett Lee fan my initial memories of Brett Lee were when I saw him bowl a bouncer to Adam Parore I guess it was in 2000 in New Zealand and the bowl was so quick it hit him on the helmet and the helmet went on to hit the wickets. I thought to myself man that's quick. I will always have a special love for Brett Lee as he has been an inspiration to everyone around the world. Thank you Brett for all those years you entertained us. Much love and respect.

Brett Lee himself is very humble guy. He's very popular in Bangladesh along with Shoaib Akter. I got the opportunity to watch him physically when Australia tour to Bangladesh in 2003-2004 in a ODI match at Fatullah, Dhaka. He wasn’t in the best 11; so he moved around very closely to the stand and waving hands with his smile. Lots of love and respect for the legend from Bangladesh. 🇧🇩🏏😍

Wonderful narration ! Fast ballers are crazy in the first place. Balling fast takes so much practice and stress on the whole body but when we look at the number of wickets taken or the number of runs given, it all seems pointless. But the passion in fast ballers makes it all worth it. Even when fast ballers are on the same team, there is always a competition b/w them.

The only issue with Shoaib was his fitness and consistancy. He was like a machine gun.. He was best used by Wasim as a captain for 3 or 4 overs and then taken off. Making sure that the barrel cools down and the opponent does not get used to the speed. In longer number of overs, he was bit all over the place. The speed did not drop but the balls were flying everywhere via the bat or on their own.

Yep i remember seeing him at the 99 world wc, amazingly fast and in that wc final gilly pulled him, waqar and wasim apart single handedly and continued to do so many years after 99 wc. The aussies just know how to find the great players weaknesses

I was not expecting such shocking comments from any Australian but u made. This is what the gesture which could only bring from the greatest bowler of history who doesn't believe on racism or nation but lover of cricket. Brett Lee we love u u have won our hearts that no other shortsighted and self centered did ever before.

The Umpire could've been none other than The Great Legendary Steve Bucknor who put many cricketing careers on line and changed the fate of many great matches as well as series. India was his favourite team to experiment. Sachin, Saurav and many other players his favourite lab ingredients, and the reactions were forever.

Brett, it’s great that you are putting your heart out here for posterity. Still think about how awed I was as a youngster to meet you in Mumbai airport right after missing a flight, which more than made up or it. And unlike our poor overhyped Indian cricketers, you didn’t rush while your entourage backed up and gave room to the crazy fan 😁. I can never forget the image of you walking around looking immaculately dressed like James Bond and just the size of your hands 😂, that makes the ball look like a marble! You gave time. Look up to you always. Cheers 🍻✨.

@@DeeeKay Denying what's true does not make you cool buddy. Tashan aur ads banaane mein hamaari team no. 1 hai. Fact hai. Yeh cool waala agenda aapka hoga. I love cricket. I love the way SL kicked the smugness out of our Tashan boys. A well deserved medicine before the WC. They might even do better because of it. India is not my team. Whoever plays good cricket is my team even if it is Pakistan. Process that my friend.

@@humanvoice369 you wrote when you were young, so it means that you're not talking about the present team India I guess. It was probably around 2005-06 you're talking about. And that was a great team. You absolutely cannot belittle them. And fyi, I appreciate the skills of Pak cricketers but I certainly cannot support them, even if we lose by 1000 runs. And winning one tournament rn doesn't make SL great, India has won it 7 times already.
