Look out. Companies are making black pipe lookalikes that are thinner walled and not actually useable as a pipe. They are designed to be only shelving with an industrial pipe appearance.

Really oughta look at installing insulated pipe through that "sob" board and shingle roof. Those materials make great fire starters. Would be a bummer to lose roof and walls. At least your forge and anvil are fire proof. I like your can do, get it done work style

10FT of pipe, and the whole thing works on thermodynamics. Hot air rises, and the vent/fan deal on top helps pull it up and out. We often have desert winds out here, so when the vent is spinning like mad, the heat smoke gets ripped out quick fast
