So good, buy the lesson , it's so great : tiny chords are so good to play with others musicians . The lessons with Jack Rush are good for that too . I'm an happy French Man : Tom Bukovak and now Mark Lettieri , two of the guitarists i prefer ... Thanks Brett Papa

Should probably give a tip-of-the hat to Freddie Green with Count Basie. He was a tiny chord wizard imho. There are whole lesson books available, of FG's minimalist, yet band groove-driving style.

Mark's tiny chords are like the pocket-sized superheroes of the guitar world - small but packing a punch! 🦸♂💥 I feel like my guitar just joined the Lilliputian League, fighting for justice and grooviness in every fret. Those chords may be tiny, but they're the David to Goliath in the world of musical giants. My fingers are on a diet now, aiming for that lean, mean, tiny chord machine physique. Thanks, Mark, for proving that good things come in small packages... especially in the form of hilarious guitar awesomeness! 🎸😄

Possibly more commonly referred to as shell voicings where you stay away from root/5th since they can be played the bass lines...

Got to say, normally your stuff is amazing BUT, this sounds like noise looking for a silence to fill. Way too busy to the point where it loses it's musicality. reminds me of looking for cutlery in the knife drawer....way too much substance and a complete lack of style.....I know this guy is an amazing player, asa re you, but after the intro i won't be watching any more....sorry I love Brett but this is a bit of fail for me.......stick with the triads.

Hope you’re not abandoning Brett…just the video? I get what you’re saying. This is also NOT Brett’s natural style to play off of. Don’t forget he’s the legend whos video taught Brad Paisley his own solo pre concert lol.
@TheRoaragon11 ай бұрын
You are free to feel this way, but I urge you to not completely give up learning from Brett’s videos just because of one minute long intro you didn’t like. Everybody has their own tastes. This one just isn’t yours and that is okay.
