Corey is the only one I can except as a teacher. All he does is proper I wish I had him years ago. He doesn’t tell me any new but I recommend him to all the kids I know lack knowledge. The Gold here is think Major, all the time, that changed my life years ago

@@BrettPapa Looking forward to that Brett, thank you. LOVE the tone/vibe of that Wraptail Goldtop. My dream guitar is a fat '50s neck P90 wraptail with modern jumbo frets! To me a wraptail can be played very aggressively, kind of like the same way you can play an old Telecaster.

Brett- Please tell me you remember what the amps/effects were in this video. The theory kills me-too late for me to ever grok that stuff-but that tone.... That's mostly attainable. What was it? For both of you? Gorgeous. Not sure why the reverb(?) was particularly organic and dirty or whatever. Both tones just had smoky, dive bar grime. In the most beautiful way possible.

Thanks so much! You know I am not sure what Two Rock model Corey uses but its his standard rig. I am sure you can go to his channel and get a total rig rundown on it. Mine is just my Gold Top plugged straight into a Divided by 13 BTR23 with some verb in post.

It's when you play scales made of 1/2 steps basically. Like frets 1,2,3,4 or if you were in a minor pentatonic position one on the G string instead of play just the 5th and 7th frets maybe you mix up 5, 6, 7, and 8.
