I have one of these coffee kits and have to say my favoured method is using boiling water in a flask. Speeds things up and clean up is easier. Great stuff mate.

Hey Carl, I hope you are well, buddy. I do like these, and funnily enough, after I gifted this one to my buddy outin, I reached out, asking me to review their model. I think the hot water method is a good way to maximise battery life and, as you said, simplifies the whole process. Take it easy bud.

That looks really nice, Ste. I've never had espresso. I'm still waiting for a portable brewer that will work for K-Cups. Great review. 👍🏻☕

I must say mate, I'm glad the Brevoy didn't explode in your face & that instead you received a lovely cup of coffee!! No, I don't Identify as anything other than an Australian man who bloodline hails from the old country, lol I do however LOVE my morning cup of "STUPIDLY STRONG COFFEE!!" I don't usually go down for gadgets if I'm honest, but I will say that I could shove that thing in the saddle bag of my Indian & that makes it in my opinion an awesome bit of kit!! I'm not too sure about drinking coffee at night, but hey if it works for other people then it's no business of mine lol but I have enough trouble sleeping as it is lol, very cool bit of kit though, but at $140 pound sterling = $ 275.64 AUD it's far too pricey for me. Take care dear brother & sister. I hope & pray you are both safe, happy, smiling & well, big hellos to Janine mate. Ste thank you most kindly for another great video.

😄 no explosions happened on the filming location..... this time! It is definitely a top of the shelf gadget for sure. It's also like you say very expensive, which I appreciate may be out of a lot of individuals budget. I also try to make the review videos somewhat entertaining so that at least those who can not afford the product get some value, at least. Thank you for taking the time to comment and watch the video I really appreciate it. Thank you. Have a great week ahead. Take care.

I laughed my head off at this, too much messing about for such a small amount coffee, its just another gadget and the cleaning of it was a nightmare. Great presentation thou . £140 thats a lot of dosh for a small kettle if im honest.

I noticed from my research that Outin won the reddotdesignaward for their portable espresso design. Why would Brevoy just replicate their model? It's almost identical. I'd like to see a comparison video of the two

@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors Right lets see if your coffee actually looks like coffee this time and not a cup of tea. And if you want something more compact and suitable for hiking try the aeropress. Much smaller than this product and doesnt cost the same amount as an actual espresso machine unlike the Brevoy
@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors2 ай бұрын
The aeropress has been recommended on several occasions as well as the nanopress from wacaco. All are great suggestions, but I do like the instant.....ness the brevoy, but I also like the simplicity of the coffee brewer pouches. Cheers.

Cool gadget but v expensive. Shame the battery doesn’t last longer. For that to be practical you’d want it to make coffee for at least a couple of nights camping. Also there’s nothing bushcraft about it. Cool thing to keep in your car etc but I wouldn’t be lugging that about. Cool review though, cheers.
@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors4 ай бұрын
What do you mean "there's nothing bushcraft about it!" It makes coffee, and it's green! 😄 🤣 😂 yeah, the price is definitely up there! I think you can push it to 6 coffees when using the hot water method as opposed to cold, but I get ya. It's definitely only going to appeal to a small market. Great gadget, though. Thanks for stopping by. Take it easy.
@Lightfur4 ай бұрын
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors 😂 Haha yeah I suppose. If you need to take something extra to boil water just to get 6 espressos I think there’s better alternatives. Shame because it’s a cool concept. For me it’s the battery life that majorly lets it down. It’s like carrying around a tiny torch but you need a car battery to run it after a few mins. Might as well just buy a torch with a bigger battery. I’m sure it will appeal to some people.
@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors4 ай бұрын
@Lightfur Hahaha, enormous lumens for 2.7 minutes 😂 I found out the cell capacity it's a 9,000 mah lipo.
@Lightfur4 ай бұрын
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors 😂 That’s a lot bigger than I thought. I guess it takes a lot of power to heat water. In that case it wouldn’t be feasible to put a big enough battery to make it last for a reasonable time. When battery technology gets better I reckon everyone will have these.
@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors4 ай бұрын
😄 personally, I would still want a bigger coffee! But yeah, as technology progresses in the next week, probably at the current rate! 😄 it could be popular. Have a great weekend.
