Well, question answered! All I needed was another 5 minutes of the video to solve my theoretical problem. Keep up the great work!

Preflight looks good. No parasite drag on those vessels. Brings up the question. Will it come with a P.o.h. (operating handbook.) Or its first 10 gallon batch? We can call it the A10 Wort hog. Something that will blow you away. Is this thing autographed? A true family heirloom. I know I won't win it but I'll envy who does. Have a great Father's day everybody.

A great addition to this video would be some information on the equipment profile used in your recipe editor. Evaporation rate, mash tun losses, etc. These are going to vary from system to system and if would be a great starting point for folks new to 3V or HERMS systems.

Delayed start with temp control is an amazing feature! I set my stove to 4 then go to the gym but depending on the ambient and faucet water temps it may be way over when I get back.

Very nice system, great job! Is the controller wifi enabled? Was curious if it was able to get firmware updates or maybe Brewfather integration.

Great system! I do have a question. You did say it needed a 30 Amp AC Circuit. Is that a 120VAC or a 240VAC or does it need both. I'm a nut for details.

So . . . question . . . while I have wondered for the past couple of years whether or not to use one of my extra coiled chillers to do as you are here (basically a HERMS system), I have been worried about being able to really THOROUGHLY clean the chiller/heat exchanger. The last thing I would want is grains from the mash left behind in the chiller between brews. What is your process for doing this? Just use a pump to run through a boat load of PBW over the course of 5-10 minutes? Thanks

Awesome Video!! Very informative with a lot of great tips. We really appreciate the time you took to address potential issues that you guys had as well as issues other people may not have thought about. It seems like the system really saves a lot of time in Brew Day by allowing you to combine steps. Making your Wort clearer along the way is such a huge plus!! Easier clean up. Freaking love that!!! Thanks for the Video! Let me know when you need my address to ship it to me!!

Wow nice, the only thing these videos don't tell us is how the beer ended up tasting. You shouold make a short video on the beers you've made with it.

Great video guys! It was really helpful to see the whole process explained. Aside from the fact that copper is a better conductor than stainless steel what was the reason for going with a removeable copper HERMS coil as opposed to one that enters and exits through the sidewall of the kettle? Cheers! 🍻

Do you export these to distributors in other countries eg. Kegland?
@philcross60379 ай бұрын
Why does it not have the heat exchanger in stainless, hard piped into the HLT? You don't usually need to clean the HLT. Do you use it for cooling also? It would look better if it were a hard piped coil in there and you had a heat exchanger under the boil kettle to cool it. It seems a bit expensive for what is there but that is probably the control system being a processor etc (which looks very good and premium). I am just fussy about the aesthetics of cables and hoses hanging everywhere. That sort of spoils the premium feel to me, but it's a good piece of kit and would gladly have one! I have a home built HERMS and run both pumps during vorlauf as one recircs the mash and the other recircs the water in the HLT which I find gives you better heat transfer in the exchanger. (I suppose you could wiggle yours around as it's not piped in 🤭) I am looking into your jacketed unitank also which looks good to me. Keep up the good work

Our gas system doesn't show the setup steps on the controller like your guys controller did. Is that normal? Also seeing one specifically on the gas system could be helpful too. I may know a spot to film......just saying.
