Teams are so nervous to throw out Elly and everyone else that the errors are everywhere. That is dangerous when you can’t even make a routine out at 1B.

Nervous? They're not "nervous" to throw him out. He gets down the line fast, so fielders have to make their throws quickly which causes errors.

Reds showing their potential.. NL Central can be a tight race and it's just beginning the season. Great American Ballpark half empty... guess it's awaiting for the top teams like the Diamondbacks, Phillies, or even the Braves and the Dodgers

Everyone was out watching the Eclipse. Can't really blame them for skipping a regular season baseball game to see a once-in-a-lifetime event. On top of that Cincinnati isn't a major city, so weekday day games are gonna be light due to most of everyone being at school or work.
