Call on the field was safe and would require Reds to challenge to overturn it. Maybe they felt it was bad taste to challenge on an injury when he probably would have been safe if he was fine.

I had Rendon picked to be on the IL by mid May. Looks like it will be a month sooner. Don't kid yourselves fans. Rendon is not a physically durable player. And only the Angels could miss twice on a routine ground ball in the infield. And Sandoval couldn't pitch his way out of a wet paper bag.

If I were Angels management I’d make Rendon travel and rehab with the team on the road and be with the team at all times. He just wants to go home, get paid and chill. They are paying him so they dictate where he does his rehab. And by the way, Hamstring was always known as the injury you could fake because it’s hard for trainers to diagnose + scan. Rendon has become a joke.

Angels has very tough road games (LA to Boston to Tampa Bay to Cincinnati, without any breaks). All the players are very tired. So, veterans start getting injured. it is normal. Seiya Suziki, Ian happ, and rendon, all musle related injuries. But, ohtani gone and DH position is available to veterans esp., trout. this is a good news to Angels.
