This was a fun game and I was happy to see some of these roles in action! I feel like there is so much focus on the experimental roles (as fun as they are) that you can miss how good the base sets are. I can't remember the last time I saw a Po or a Juggler so this was great to see.

While this was a fun game, I honestly can’t wait til you upload that game with Legion, a Poppygrower, a Gossip, a Pixie/Gossip, and a Philosopher/Alchemist/Fearmonger.

I always like to entertain scenarios so here it goes: If Noel had held off and nixxed Navean after they did their shot I feel like that would've read as spent slayer bluff into starpass? Either way I feel like Noel should've held on for one day at least because they were at best mildly sus which is normal for outsidering.

Curious about the good twin being a snake charmer. If they choose the demon, do they continue to be the good twin? Or does the good twin transfer as well?

No. The good twin must be the opposite alignment to the Evil Twin. A new good twin would have to be chosen that night. - Ben

Why did people think it was impossible for the final 3 to be both twins and the demon with good team winning in the end ? Execute the demon and you‘re left with both twins. That way the evil team win condition can‘t trigger and you go into a final day with only both twins alive and having to chose between them. Where is the hole in my logic here ?

I believe it is this: Game ends when the demon dies. Evil Twin ability, still active, says: “good can’t win if you both live.”

Evil wins when there are two people alive. Usually, if the demon is dead and two people are alive, both good and evil winning conditions are fulfilled. Good win ties, so usually, good wins. However, if the two people alive are the evil twin and their good twin, the evil winning condition is fulfilled, but good cannot win, so evil would win. If the 3 people alive are evil twin, their good twin and the demon, executing the demon will result in an evil win, and executing either twin would also result in an evil win.

@@sacerdor7467 No, evil's win condition straight up is "destroy the town", which is defined as "two people are left alive". "One of which is the demon" part usually comes from good's win condition, which is "kill the demon". So, evil has to keep the demon alive until there are two people left, generally. However, evil twin's win condition overrides this - "good cannot win while both of you are alive". So if there are 3 people left alive - a demon and the twins, even if you kill the demon, there will be two people left alive, which is evil's win condition satisfied, and good cannot win while the twins are alive, so evil wins.

the problem with this script is that a pit hag could turn the entire town evil with goon. turning the dead evil goon into something else and making a new dead evil goon. or even worse turn themselves good by making themselves a goon.

It would take them two nights to turn each player and they could be disrupted by monk/minstrel or by executing the goon before they turn. They also need to discover if there's a starting goon and deal with them if there is. Worst case scenario is probably 3 turned, which is still very impactful from a social/voting perspective but is no easy achievement either. If you were particularly concerned your players might try it, you could add the Fabled that limits additional evil characters. Turning themselves good is a fun edge-case, but would require strong collaboration with the right townsfolk.

Yeah Juggler and Gossip need a jinx to not be both allowed in a game. That was just to much Good team had this game solved a third of the way through the video. It was just bullshiting around after that because what five characters were confirmed out of 12 players, and gossip and juggler info pretty much had the game sewn up.

Can't say I agree with this, at least not the bit about those two characters needing a jinx. You can take any two powerful info roles and construct the exact same argument.

@@bennburns I also feel that they seem to do much the same thing. They are good for bluffs of course and having other players claim gossip helps hide what role is in play and all that. But I don't feel there is a suitable counter to this combo especially with the "This half of the circle has more than one evil" kind of gossip which is just super good at narrowing down evil. Because a gossip can do the same with "I gossip that the demon is between X and Y inclusive" and can narrow down the demon pretty quick. Because if there is NO gossip death or no death that can really be mistaken for a gossip you either narrowed down where the demon is or basically hard cleared that whole segment of the town. I have no real issues with the roles on their own other than Gossip can be one of if not the strongest info role in the game. But yeah together they can hard clear half the circle in two days and that is incredibly hard for evil to get from under. Unless they get lucky and kill off the two its basically playing the game in hard mode for evil which it already is difficult for evil to win from the off set.

@@TheLastSane1 In my experience, the counter to the Gossip is to have other (preferably evil) characters that can cause extra deaths in the night. BMR does this by having a bunch of Demons that cause all different numbers of deaths, as well as the Assassin, the ultimate confuser of deaths in the night.

Honestly watching that section back there was not much you could have done as ST the demon star passed and you had to kill someone per the rules and so it just gave a solid confirmation to the gossip both as being the gossip and saying two of three evil at least where on that side. With imp killing themselves off they reduced options on that side. You played it at best you could it was just an insanely strong play. Most I could see in hindsight would be to have killed Skillz with their gossip and killed the tinker but that managing them bleed out and maybe informing evil how royally boned they were at the moment

I think it is a little weird to say that this is too strong when the gossip helped take town down to final three with a 5 death night. The fact that both of those roles are so public (the demon can easily kill them to prevent them from getting the information) and the juggler is a one and done with the gossip adding deaths makes them balanced. There is always the potential for roles to interact for potent combos and that is what makes this more interesting than saving all the fun/powerful abilities for evil.
