Awesome to see some content like this again Adam, I found your channel awhile back while homebrewing and loved watching these videos while brewing. Your content really got me thinking and eventually left the automotive field and have been brewing at a local spot on a 5bbl system since September and loving the beer industry! Also 210 it’s my understanding that the purpose of the grant is to prevent the mash from collapsing and using it during vorlauf would help and prevent this from happening. Also will make everything just that more easy on the wort as it’s pulling from the grant not the bottom of you mash bed

Nice video Adam! Way to help the guys out by adding a dump hose on their KO manifold. I personally pack my HE and KO hose and manifold with sanitizer (parasitic acid) then push it all out with wort until it runs just wort. Also I use a 4 way t and have a test cock on the other side to take the OG readings.
