Mine came in this morning. Already a big fan. This works great.

Hi Paul, I am about to get one of those, but I was just wondering: could you also use it to aerate your wort when transfering from the brewzilla to the fermzilla? Just a wild idea...
@graintoglass4 ай бұрын
I think it's possible but the 2 concerns I have would be the sprayer holes getting clogged with either hop chunks or cold break and the wort getting sprayed upwards possibly creating a giant mess. Cheers

im getting one!

I have been using one for a few months now, I don't have a Brewzilla but a 3 vessel system. When cleaning stand alone vessels, fermenters or kegs you have to have a way of recycling the cleaning fluid back to the pump. I haven't yet found a way to do this effectively.

That spray rotor looks like it’d be a good tool for sparging , might give it a whirl

I tried once and it got clogged with little bits of grain. I'll have to give3 it another try.

Just got one but is in transit. Seeing the kegland video, I also got the flexi arm. So perhaps as a followup, could you test that out as well? Also, while you are at it, perhaps you could test the sparge head as well? Thank you!
@graintoglass Жыл бұрын
If we can get our hands on either of those products I will test them. Cheers

It’s fantastic. The sparge head works really well, I use it during mash and sparging. I have a flexible arm too…not as big a fan. It works, but I actually used the hose from the CIP as it fits the sparge head, and attached it to the recirc pipe with a clamp. That works better. Easier to work with

@@graintoglassSuper! Thank you.

@@MarkCee-vc1hk Got it. I was told by kegland support that the sparge and indeed the recirc arm fit with no need for any additional tubing. So, I guess I will try it when I get it! Thank you.

Looks good. But would you still not need to do an active scrub of your equipment? Ie, using a brush or scouring pad?
@graintoglass Жыл бұрын
Depends on how dirty your Brewzilla is. I did not have to scrub after using this CIP. I rinsed with a hose and all the crud was off. Cheers.

Better than my spray ball with a low volume march style pump

I was surprised at how well it worked.

Can this be used to recirculate mash lautering/sparging?
@graintoglass Жыл бұрын
I think if you slowed down the flow on the recirculation arm it would work. I will give it a shot tomorrow and see how it goes.

@@graintoglasshow did it go with sparging?
@Chris.patient85 Жыл бұрын
I've used this on my last 4-5 brews. I figured it was under $15 so if it didnt work so be it. With that said I've been pleasantly surprised with how well it cleans my Brewzilla, and its made my least favorite part of the brew day somewhat enjoyable.
@graintoglass Жыл бұрын
That's awesome! Have you tried cleaning other stuff like fermenters or kegs with it?
@Chris.patient85 Жыл бұрын
No I haven't tried out cleaning anything else yet.

Apparently kegland themselves have realised the loose fit issue, because I got one direct from them today and it came with a butterfly clamp included
@graintoglass Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info. We will include a clamp for our customers. Cheers
