We've all heard the news that the UK has voted to leave the European Union. In this video we will be looking at the data and exploring a few possibilities of what could happen to the country in the future. A few crucial facts were left out for the sake of brevity, such as the fact that the younger generations tended to vote more heavily for remaining and the older generations tended to vote more in favor of leaving.
That being said, I hope that everybody enjoys this video. It is not intended to be one sided one way or the other, it is just an exploration of data and some interesting future possibilities. Cheers everybody!

It makes me Sick how people who voted to Leave are now Presented with two Options, Remain in the Uk or Leave the UK and join the EU. I personally want Scotland to be Free of all Unions for just a little while so we can Actually Govern the Direction our Country wants to go Unrestricted. Scotland as of Currently is a Liberal Shithole with similarities to Sweden, We might just end up with our very own Scotistan.

Brexit will probably not happen: Scotland and N. Irleand have a de-facto veto, because I don't think Great Britain would be willing to lose half its land for border control, while also paying MORE to the EU (as Finnland does), and losing all its EU rights, and at the end keeping basically all the treaties it already has, if the EU doesn't decide to go harsh on them, which would be even worse. So to sum it up: If Britain actually leaves, then they lose 1/3 of their land, pay MORE money to the EU, have absolutely no say in the EU parliament, but on the upside they get to expell 10'000 refugees from the country, which will also be a non-issue anyway in 5 years. Also if there had been another vote at any point from directly following the first vote to now, the outcome probably would have been Stay, especially after the Leave leaders resigned. So leaving would upset the populous, and weaken the country far, unimaginably more than 10'000 refugees ever could, even if they wanted to (which they don't, and hosting 10'000 people isn't that expensive, no more than 6 pence per cititzen/month)

So many mistakes in this video... 1) In 1975 there was no EU, it was the European Economic Community (EEC) - very different 2) The UK joined the EEC (not the EU) in 1973, not 1975 3) London did not solely vote to remain, some areas voted to leave 4) There were many other areas in England (and a couple in Wales) that voted to remain other than London 5) Northern Ireland also did not solely vote to remain, some areas voted to leave 6) Nobody has seriously been calling for independence of London, some people may have joked about it but that's all 7) That petition you showed is a joke, the majority of people that have 'signed it' aren't even from the UK, let alone London 8) It is not 'pretty likely' that Scotland will vote to leave if there is a second Scottish independence referendum - it is simply unknown how they would vote (there are so many factors) 9) The UK flag would undoubtedly remain the same if Scotland left the UK, there is no reason at all to change the flag. 10) You used the wrong flag for Northern Ireland, it isn't a red X on a white background (that was the flag of the kingdom of Ireland which is no longer a country)

They'll realise that the EU is not only about a bunch of bankers making decisions for them, but also a bunch of politicians who introduce work regulations and try to protect workers' interests. Out of the EU, employers will be able to do whatever they want. Also, without trade deals, you'll see how the price of many alimentary products will skyrocket, because nothing can grow in a land without sun.

What would be wrong with a politically united Europe? Fear of greater union has been a theme of Brexit, typically presented as negative without further justification. Shouldn't we be aiming for greater unity and stability across the globe? Isn't that a more hopeful and positive vision than every man for himself?

Actually the European Union was only formed at the Maastricht Treaty in 1992 and the British public were not consulted on this, so it is wrong to say the UK has been part of the EU since 1975 or that the British public voted for it. The vote in 1975 was to join the EEC, that this was intended as a precursor to the EU was not made clear to the British public.

well the EU provides lots of benefits in being one of the world's largest trade blocs. If the UK does end up leaving corporations are more likely to pay attention to the EU then Britain because comparably Britain provides less benefits and oppritunity. If Scotland were to be independent, it would most likely need EU membership to be sucsessfull. not to mention it is being apart of a wider European community. something english people seem to forget all too often is that they are European and should be involved in European affairs as much as possible. As for Syrian refugees, it's mandatory for all nations to accept them at their borders, not by EU law, but by UN law. leaving the EU does nothing technically you still must accept refugees.

@Peter Tall - What small amount of oil is left is now a paltry $45 per barrel and does not look like getting back to 2014 levels of $86 pb for at least ten years, as the US is trying it's hardest to shrink the Russian economy. As things stand, public expenditure in Scotland is £10,000 per head, public expenditure in England is £8,000 per head, even the hope of Scotland getting EU subsidies in the unlikely event of them leaving the UK would never be to that level, the net EU contributors could not afford it.

The Shetland Islands are in Scotland & UK by the way. So they need to be in a map of the UK at all times, and not cut off, and when visible should be filled in with colours colours or flags, as appropriate, in the maps. Interestingly, the Isle of Man is not in the UK, and has never been a member of the EU. So it should not be filled in with colours or flags in the maps.

"History never feels like history whilst we're living through it"? It certainly did for me on the 24th of June and even now as we face the aftermath of this referendum. As you say, the future of the UK has never been so uncertain and no one can claim to know what will happen next for sure. It really all depends on the deal the UK makes with Europe that will have a big effect on Scottish and Northern Irish calls for independence. Even just today the possibility that Scotland could remain part of the UK whilst also remaining part of the EU at the same time was brought up as a possibility by Nicola Sturgeon, which sounds like a strange arrangement, but as we are charting new territory with this vote and the UK's unique position - who knows.

do you understand currency is holding infastructure in place by swithing to the euro we would lose our infastructure of buisness etc bit by bit... so you see we would never change our currency... but go ahead and speculate it's what everyone else in the world does these days.

Best case: We don't leave/ Norway deal Worst case: WW3 :D

The EU already said a "Norway/Swiss deal" is not applicable. They will play rough. Best case scenario: Idiots get ignored and the UK stays in. Old farts who voted out grumble but eventually die out. Worst case scenario: We will be reading about this mythical "UNITED Kingdom" in the history books.

I am just a little bit excited to see our well oiled negotiating machine we have been perfecting for six decades come and meet your team of people that weren't even born the last time the UK made a trade deal by itself. I don't think it will be pretty, but entertaining, for sure. Good luck.
