Breyer's New Models for 2025 - THOUGHTS

Hmmm I kinda like the anniversary models with the horses in the markings. Never seen that before. The black and white is prob my fav but the appy is dope too! You can really identify the models if you're a true Breyer fan. Wild how old some of the models are turning 30 like me this year lol!

Yes, it's always wild to find models that are as old as oneself. Of course for me, I need to go back to the days of Chris Hess in order to find those, lol.

Hi Erica! I pre-ordered with my local Breyer dealer: the Esprit (because I conga this mold) the Radiance classic Arabian (normally don't collect decorators but I have a soft spot for clearware) and Surfers Riptide. Thanks for the video and looking forward to your review of the Breyerfest models when they are all revealed.

Excellent choices! I'm especially looking forward to seeing the Surfers Riptide model in person. Stay tuned, because I am 100% going to do a video on the Breyerfest models, but I want to wait until they've released more of them. All I can say at this time is that I definitely have thoughts, lol. :)

Sorry about your cat being sick. Hoping he recovers quickly & fully. Nothing I need except the Lexington ornament since I have all of the other TB race horse ornaments. I might get the TR blue Lexington on Winx but since I’m trying to downsize the collection it’s doubtful. If I hadn’t gotten rid of my Classic WB Foal conga I would’ve gotten that set for the foal. Overall there isn’t much I want or need & that’s good since I’m trying to downsize. If something makes me go “WOW! 😮 I will get it for my collection but nothing revealed so far has that wow factor for me.

Thank you! Luckily we have an excellent emergency animal clinic nearby, and he is well on his way to recovery. I think that's all understandable, especially when trying to downsize. Ornaments are a good compromise between not buying anything and a full sized model. :)

I really love buckskins so I may very well get the buckskin Geronimo. Then again, I could change my mind if I don't like him in person. It wouldn't be the first time I've seen a model and thought, no, don't really want it, until I saw it in person or visa-versa. The appaloosa/pinto markings with the molds featured in the markings is a very neat idea. I like both the Esprit and Lonesome Glory. I think they both look nice. I really like Lonesome Glory's color. Yummy! Esprit is funny. I didn't really care for him when he first came out but he grew on me over time so, if I can find one and if I like what I see in person, I might get it. The pony set is nice. I'd love to see some of the bulls and even some of the wildlife molds make a comeback and the new Longhorn looks great but I already have 2 of them and those horns! LOL! Maybe they could bring back the Herfords. I could find room for them! 😀

Yes, a Hereford or two (or more...) could certainly find room on my shelves as well! I definitely know what you mean about liking/not liking a mold before seeing it in person and then changing your mind. For me that's made all the more challenging by having limited Breyer vendors nearby location-wise. I often just purchase models directly from Breyer (if regular runs) and hope for the best! lol
