A lot! I think the fin is also made out of sheet metal! The artist posted some work in progress photos of him on facebook and instagram (Studio Thornrose)

The koi was super awesome. I'd be scared to take it to a show for fear of damage. That had to take weeks to make.

I love this ❤️. I loved Thursday so much. I honestly could spend all of my money at the clarion and be firm with it 😂. Plus the koi custom was gorgeous. My friend and I stared at it for 10 minutes. 😂

I stayed at the La Quinta and the shuttle that they had going was a blessing. My brother wasn’t interested in following me around wild I drooled on model horses and it meant I could shop and go back to the hotel when I was ready.

StormyStrikesChannel The first night I did have my brother drop me off and pick me up. When he picked me up, he said, “You took a long time, I watched an entire extended cut of Lord of The Rings.” 😂😂😂😂 But hey, you cant expect a model horse collector to be quick when there is a hotel full of plastic ponies to wander through, especially when it’s her first time!

StormyStrikesChannel I would, however, say if you are planning on bringing a lot of models back from the horse park, it would be better to take a car, because those buses were packed. I did find it much easier to be able to put my models in the car.

The model before Rachel Alexandra looks like Greyhound, a very famous trotter gelding. He is gorgeous, as well as most of these artisan models.

I would love to but unfortunately all my new models will have to be packed away with about half of my collection that is also packed away right now because I ran out of room for them. After I can completely renovate my room (crossing my fingers that it will get done by the end of the year), I will do an updated collection tour when everything is out on shelves again :)

Anyone can shop (and sell, as long as you have a room there or are selling out of a friend's room) at the Clarion! :) The room sales, artisan's gallery, and Breyer swap meet are all completely free.
