W.H.Auden ന്റെ Refugee Blues എന്ന കവിത. അദ്ദേഹം പ്രശസ്തനായ അമേരിക്കൻ രചയിതാവായിരുന്നു. 21 February 1907 United kingdom ആയിരുന്നു ജനനം. Refugee blues Funeral blues,The unknown citizen etc ഇവയൊക്കെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രശസ്തമായ കവിതാസമാഹാരങ്ങളാണ്.29 September 1973 ഓസ്ട്രിയയിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മരണം. ഈ കവിതയിൽ നമുക്ക് കാണാൻ കഴിയുന്നത് അഭയാർത്ഥികളെ കുറിച്ചാണ്. തന്റെ കാമുകിയെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്യുകയും ഇതേ അവസ്ഥയിൽ കഴിയുന്ന അഭയാർത്ഥികളെ കുറിച്ചുമാണ് കവിതയിൽ പരാമർശിക്കുന്നത്. കവിതയിലേക്ക് കടക്കാം.
