Bria, Bria, Bria... I used to love jazz... then, all of a sudden, one non-sleep night, while listening to the radio in Texas, I listened to this "So is the day" and since that moment, since that PRECISE moment, I started adoring jazz, I started adoring you and I felt my life would never be complete again without jazz. Thanks for existing, Bria, thanks for this song

Well said, Francisco. I just discovered this wonderful jazz about 10 minutes ago. It was either watch an old x-files episode or listen to some jazz. I chose jazz and made a much better choice.

A beautiful song, as if dedicated to my mom. She recorded it on the day my mom died. It was published on youtube exactly on the day of my mother's funeral!

I’ve always thought of myself as someone that likes music. As some me that understands terms like dynamics and range. Then I discovered jazz and realized I had no idea. Then I hear this. This is music. Being riveted to a screen with headphones on and listening to every single note. It’s tone. It’s rhythm. It’s articulation. Riveted. Thank you for making this piece of music. I love the album version, but was mesmerizing.

Wow... an intimate view of the artist. Beautiful wispy melody where Bria's vocal becomes an eery mimic of the trumpet solo and flows from haunting ethos with seamless smooth transitions to the conflicting feelings of tender love with the pain and angst that opens the wound of unrequited love in the final cathartic measures of the piece. Turn down the lights in your bedroom and put on your noise reduction headphones... you don't any outside intrusion, unless... maybe an , unnecessary but complimentary, glass of Cabernet!
